Back in September of 2018, I had the opportunity to travel to the Queerness and Games Conference, where I presented on work forthcoming in Game Studies and Press Start. While there, I spoke with reporter Valente Villamil from the Canadian video game site, Do A Barrel Roll. We spoke together about queer identity and video games, and about how LGBTQ people might perceive portrayals of their identities in modern video games. It was such an honor to be able to share my thoughts with this wonderful organization.
